Full view of Historic Bowman Field, Williamsport PA. |
Wide view of Historic Bowman Field. Note the line of people waiting to get into the park; unusual for Class A minor league baseball, but it was Fireworks Night. |

My baseball buddy, Sarge, photographs the stadium, using good old silver-oxide 35mm film and a Nikon rig. |
The home players walk right through the fans to get to their dugout. Many of them stopped to sign autographs. Here, infielder Miguel DeLa Cruz obliges some fans. |

One of the best things about minor league baseball is the creative promotions that take place between innings. Here, fans bob for green olives in coolers of cold water. The winner received a cash prize and some team-logo clothes. |

The fireworks display, seen from inside the grandstand. Fans were invited to sit on the outfield grass and watch the show. The stadium lights were turned off and the fireworks lasted about 25 minutes. |
