Food Distribution Magazine gave UH HUH ... an award in their Annual Rubs and Marinades Competition on March 15, 1999. They awarded UH HUH ... third prize for its characteristics as a mild rub for pork. We are thrilled to receive this honor from a national industry leader like Food Distribution Magazine.
In March, 1999, Howard and Rieta Park of Stonington, Connecticut agreed to be sponsored by UH HUH ... on their trip around the world in their 52 foot yawl, Comet. UH HUH ... is the "Official Spice Blend of the Park Comet World Tour." Howard and Rieta enjoy UH HUH ... in most of the meals and snacks they prepare in the galley. We have supplied them with UH HUH ... in plastic water bottles for easy storage and prevention of spills, water damage and breakage.
Through the "Brooklyn's Kitchen" arm of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, UH HUH ... has been shown-off at the FMI 1999 Supermarket Industry Convention in Chicago last May as well as the Fancy Food and Confection show in New York in July.
In 1998, UH HUH ... was the hit of two prominent food shows, "The Natural Gourmet Food Show" in Boston and "Brooklyn Eats," at the Downtown Brooklyn Marriott. For the past two summers, UH HUH ... has been a popular booth at the Stonington Farmer's Market in Stonington, Connecticut every Saturday morning.
