13 Apr 1774:22 (549) Georgia Gazette (Johnston) GG(J.774.013 13 Apr 1774:22 (549) London, January 20. The following droll accident happened lately at a Spouting Club west-end of the town. A young fellow was taking off Harlequin in pantomime, and being to leap through a trap door, three or four young men with the curtain were appointed to catch him; but were so attentive to him while he was acting the part, that they forgot to catch him as he jumped, and he fell with his head in a pitch pot that some carpenters had left behind them, which, very much hurting his head, made him a most strange spectacle, and stuck to his hair in such a manner that it was obliged to be all cut off.
