Deserted from my company of the seventh Marryland                       
[=Maryland] regiment, commanded by Col. Henry Shyrock, the              
following men, viz.                                                     
John Davis, born in Wales, a stout likely fellow, about                 
twenty-five years of age, five feet eight or nine inches                
high, and is a remarkable good dancer.
