[In a notice asking for the return of a stolen wallet:] The             
theft is strongly suspected to be effected by a Negro wench,            
who rubbed herself very close to the sufferer as he passed              
through a crowd of Negroes assembled at the lower end of                
Elliot-street, with a banjer playing.
