I've been getting a lot of great stories from fans who want to share their personal Sam experiences. This first story is a true example of the person "our" Sam is and the time and trouble he takes for his fans. Since Kelly didn't want her email address listed... A Phone Call from Sam!

    Feb/98- I was sitting at the computer chatting with a friend online Wednesday, January 21 when the phone rang a little after 10pm. Wondering who it could be I answered "Hello?" and heard "Dianne, Hi! It's Sam Harris". Well once I regained my composure and resumed normal breathing (for the most part at least!) I was thrilled to find out that he was calling to let me know that he had chosen one of the designs I had sent for the "New SHC Logo Contest" as the new logo. I was extremely honored that Sam took the time out of his busy schedule to call me personally! I took the chance to ask a few questions and find out how things were going on the big project.

    Sam is hard at work doing the writers workshop for "The Jazz Singer". He sounded extremely excited about the project and informed me that if I didn't think he had enough songs in "THE LIFE", that I should be happy with this show- he currently is scheduled for some 20 songs!! He was also eagerly looking forward to the end of the workshop and all it's re-writes! He had received 20 new pages and changes that night to learn for the next day. It was great to hear him so excited about the project and I truly believe that it will be another great advance for his career.
