USACC Taghiyev Award

Taghiyev is known throughout the country for his devotion to the Azerbaijani people and for his philanthropy. He shared his fortune with his countrymen by building homes, schools, and theaters in Baku, and he sponsered bright young Azerbaijani students, often funding their education at prestigious schools and universities abroad.

His countless contributions to Azerbaijani society during his lifetime have made an indelible impression on all Azerbaijanis. Taghiyev has become a symbol of perseverance, hard work, dedication, and success, while his undying committment to improving the standard of living in Azerbaijan continues to serve as a source of inspiration to Azerbaijanis of all generations.
