commercial bank with offices in London and Paris as well as global

Since
its founding, Riggs has built a tradition of international banking
predicated on relationships with foreign governments, international
institutions, and prominent individuals around the world. Riggs'
tradition began with the recognition of the importance of international
institutions and individuals in Washington, DC, as well as serving
the US Government and its agencies with its domestic and international
interests. Many of these relationships were initiated as a result
of Riggs' providing banking services to nearly 95% of the embassies
and the multilateral institutions based in Washington, DC. This
unique window has allowed Riggs to expand into new markets and focus
its strategy on international opportunities.
Riggs
offers a wide range of highly personalized services to facilitate
banking for our international clients. Our services include correspondent
banking, foreign exchange, letters of credit, international private
banking, cash management, trade and project finance, and advisory
services. Building on these services and on our tradition of trust
and confidentiality, our International Banking group always strives
to strengthen existing relationships and develop new ones.
